Rolled out of bed at 6:25 and ran up to the CFHS track around 6:45 with Lisa. This workout seemed a little intimidating because we haven't done good old 1600s in a while, but once we started we both felt OK. The first mile was a tad slow and probably set the tone for the workout, so we were on the slow side of the goal pace range, but a solid workout nonetheless. All in all, after the stretch, I felt like I overcame the intimidation of my first 1600s workout under 5:00mm pace.
