Type: 800m of a 1500m Race Simulation
Goal was to get Lisa to feel an even 73-74s per lap 800m. Wind was really bad, it was very cold.

Summary:
Started the 800 at the 1500 meter start. Came through the 400 @ 73 and felt good but the wind down the back stretch of the track (closest to the soccer field) was terrible. Battled the wind all the way through the turn and lost a lot of time. Could not keep up with Clay's pace. Tried to make up time the rest of the time but was unable to get any time back. Came through the 800 in 2:30. Not a great result but a hard effort. Really need to learn how to push through some pain to maintain pace. I have run a 2:30 on a sprint/float before so I was not very happy with this. Another chance to learn and I will keep chipping away at my quest to go before 5 minutes for the mile.
