We stopped at Antrim on the way home from Jackie's wedding in Cincinnati to run. We decided not to do our normal Sunday long easy because we were both pretty beat from the wedding festivities. We ran 4.5 miles instead and will get our Sunday long run later this week. This turned out to be a very eventful run. We headed south from Antrim on the bike path, this part of the path runs parallel with 315 for a short distance. 50 feet ahead of us a truck on the highway lost his tire and came barreling down toward the trail into the fence next to the trail. The truck was pulling a trailer full of wood. The wood along with a chainsaw flew over the fence as the truck hit the fence. We were very lucky to have been hit. 15 seconds earlier and we might have been hurt. Good reminder to always be aware of what is going on around you when running.
