We raced on Saturday, so we did not want to run a fast tempo today, so we backed it off and ran at the extreme slow end of Lactate Threshold.
I felt pretty bad... I couldn't get into any kind of rhythm and my legs felt as if my quads, hamstrings, calves and feet were all unattached from each other. I finally got angry with the run in the fifth mile and felt better about finishing in 5:35, although the rest of the run was very frustrating.
